In the interview, I talk about my journey which definitely wasn’t a straight line. Before launching my career in interior design, I actually worked in furniture sales and then as a commercial rep. Being in daily contact with materials, textures, and layouts slowly opened the door to this world that I didn’t even know would one day become my passion.
I also shared how, after the birth of my daughter in 2021, I finally took the leap and dedicated myself fully to design. And that’s when everything started to fall into place: my first clients, my evenings drafting layouts, and my precious early collaborations, like the one with Camille Hermand, who helped me step into the professional world with confidence.
IDEAT also asked about one of the biggest chapters of my career: the Douze Paris hotel.
Thirty rooms, five configurations, a year and a half of work and a LOT of creativity!
Because the project was so large and unique, we even ended up designing our own furniture: beds, headboards, side tables, lamps… Everything was custom-made to create a look that felt deeply Parisian : intimate, stylish, and full of personality.
We worked with gorgeous materials like textured glass, deep blues, soft greens… and collaborated with designer Christian Haas for the suites.
It was such a huge project, but also the one that truly brought my name into the spotlight.
I also got the chance to talk about the city where I was born and raised. Paris isn’t always easy (let’s be honest!), but its energy, its history, and its constant reinvention are what inspire me every day. Even with all the changes, it remains this vibrant, creative hub that shapes both my aesthetic and my way of approaching each project.
This interview means so much to me, not only because it highlights my work, but because it reflects the journey we’ve been on together. Every message, every kind word from you, really fuels my passion for creating beautiful, meaningful spaces.
